WuXi AppTec Plans to Build a New Site in Singapore, Better Serving Global Partners and Advancing Healthcare Innovation
SINGAPORE, July 19, 2022 – WuXi AppTec, a leading global provider of R&D and manufacturing services that enable the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, today announced a plan to build a new R&D and manufacturing site in Singapore. The company intends to invest up to S$2 billion (approximately US$1.43 billion) to construct and operationalize the site, which aims to further enable global partners to advance healthcare innovations. The investment is expected to be made in stages over the next 10 years, depending on the company’s business needs.

WuXi ATU and Wugen Announce Manufacturing Partnership to Expedite the Delivery of Novel Cell Cancer Immunotherapies
June 15, 2022 (PHILADELPHIA, PA; ST. LOUIS, MO and SAN DIEGO, CA) – WuXi Advanced Therapies (WuXi ATU), a global Contract Testing, Development and Manufacturing Organization (CTDMO), and Wugen Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in St. Louis and San Diego, today announced a partnership to produce Wugen’s WU-NK-101, a novel immunotherapy that harnesses the power of memory natural killer (NK) cells to treat cancers. WuXi ATU will provide manufacturing and testing services for WU-NK-101 to enable the delivery of this innovative cell therapy product to cancer patients.
